Patna, July 31 (NationPress) - Early Thursday morning, tensions flared at Patna AIIMS when RJD MLA Chetan Anand was reportedly assaulted while visiting the hospital.
As per police reports, Chetan Anand arrived at the hospital around midnight to see a patient. An argument erupted between him, hospital security, and junior doctors, which quickly escalated into a physical confrontation.
Sources indicate that during this altercation, Chetan Anand was forcibly pushed and allegedly detained in a hospital room for approximately 30 minutes.
The conflict transpired in front of his supporters who accompanied him on the visit.
Following the incident, the MLA filed a formal complaint at Phulwarisharif Police Station.
