1.1 Million Oven Gloves Recalled in the US Following Reports of 92 Minor Burns

New York, Dec 7 (NationPress) The US video and e-commerce retailer QVC is recalling approximately 1.1 million of its Temp-tations Oven Gloves because they do not offer adequate heat protection, according to a notice issued by the US Consumer Product Safety Commission.
QVC has reported 162 instances of insufficient heat protection, including 92 minor burns, as reported by Xinhua news agency.
Consumers who own these recalled gloves are strongly advised to cease usage immediately and reach out to QVC for a refund. Additional details can be found on the recall's online registration page.
As per the recall notice, the oven gloves were available for purchase online at qvc.com, as well as through QVC's televised and digital shopping platforms from August 2018 to August 2024, priced between $4 and $13 per pair.
The gloves, which are offered in a variety of colors and designs, were sold in both single pairs and sets. The label inside the gloves reads 'Temp-tations by Tara', as reported by Xinhua, citing The Associated Press.
