Iran Asserts That Syria's Destiny Must Be Determined by Its Citizens

Tehran, Dec 9 (NationPress) Iran has expressed its conviction that the Syrian population should possess the exclusive right to dictate their own future, devoid of any foreign interference or imposition.

The ministry emphasized the urgency of ending military hostilities in the nation promptly, preventing terrorist acts, and initiating national dialogue that encompasses all segments of Syrian society to establish an inclusive government that represents all Syrian people, as reported by Xinhua news agency.
The statement also indicated that Iran will leave no stone unturned in its efforts to ensure security and stability in Syria, continuing consultations with all key stakeholders, particularly those in the West Asia region.
