New Delhi, Sep 5 (NationPress) The Prime Minister of Mauritius, Navinchandra Ramgoolam, is set to embark on a State Visit to India from September 9-16, as announced by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Friday. This marks Ramgoolam's inaugural overseas bilateral trip to India during his current term.

During a weekly media briefing in New Delhi, MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal recounted Ramgoolam's previous visit to India in 2014 when he attended the swearing-in ceremony of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

"The Prime Minister of Mauritius, His Excellency Dr. Navinchandra Ramgoolam, will undertake a State visit to India from September 9 to 16, 2025. This visit will be his first overseas bilateral engagement with India in his present term. You may recall Prime Minister Ramgoolam's previous visit to India in 2014, during which he attended the swearing-in ceremony of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers.
