Bandar Seri Begawan, December 10 (NationPress) - The Sultan of Brunei, Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, took the lead in board meetings for essential energy companies within Brunei, motivating a culture of collaboration and urgency among stakeholders and the management team, as reported by local media.

As per the local publication Borneo Bulletin, the 224th Board of Directors Meeting of Brunei LNG and the 110th Board Meeting of Brunei Gas Carriers (BGC) were convened at the Prime Minister's Office on Monday, according to Xinhua news agency.

The Sultan shared insights on the challenges, achievements, and invaluable lessons gathered from the operations of the Brunei Shell Joint Venture Companies throughout 2024.

He emphasized the necessity for all affiliated companies to maintain the highest standards of ethics and compliance, while also encouraging a culture of integrity across all organizational levels.

The meeting saw the participation of key stakeholders, including representatives from the Brunei government, Shell PLC, and Mitsubishi Corporation, along with members of the respective management teams from Brunei LNG and BGC.
