Tragic Collision on Brazilian Highway Claims Four Lives
Sao Paulo, Dec 6 (NationPress) A devastating crash involving two trucks and a car occurred on a principal highway in Brazil's Sao Paulo on Thursday, resulting in four fatalities and several injuries, as reported by local authorities.
The incident happened on the Bandeirantes highway when the two trucks collided and subsequently struck another vehicle that was parked on the roadside.
The Sao Paulo Fire Department indicated in their report that one of the trucks had entered a restricted zone of the highway, leading to a series of collisions, as reported by Xinhua news agency.
This accident took place during the morning hours and caused significant traffic disruptions. A portion of the highway had to be closed to assist the victims and clear the wrecked vehicles.
