Tragic Road Incident in South Korea Claims Four Lives
Jeju, Dec 3 (NationPress) A tragic incident on the resort island of Jeju led to four fatalities and four injuries following a collision between a truck and a rental vehicle on Tuesday, according to police reports.
The collision took place at 3:58 p.m. in the Seogwipo area of Jeju, where a 1-ton truck crashed into a rental minivan on a two-lane road, as noted by Yonhap news agency.
Of the six individuals traveling in the minivan, four were transported to a local hospital in cardiac arrest, but unfortunately did not survive.
Additionally, the two remaining passengers in the minivan, along with two people in the truck, suffered a mix of minor and serious injuries.
Authorities believe that some of the minivan passengers may have been tourists, as per police information.
The police are currently conducting an investigation to determine the exact cause of this tragic accident.
