Kabul, Nov 5 (NationPress) Tragically, four individuals lost their lives and two others were injured following a collision between a car and a truck in Afghanistan's eastern Parwan province on Tuesday, as confirmed by the provincial police spokesman, Fazal Rahim Muskinyar, on Wednesday.
The fatal incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon in the Siagurd district, resulting in the immediate deaths of four individuals, which included both women and children, while two others sustained injuries, as reported by Xinhua News Agency.
The official attributed the accident to reckless driving and mentioned that the drivers of both vehicles have been apprehended.
Earlier, on November 1, local authorities reported that three people, including a woman, died and five others were injured, among them four children and another woman, when a truck overturned in southern Helmand province.
This accident occurred as the truck was transporting a family during relocation, resulting in its overturning due to reckless driving on the outskirts of Police District 10 in Lashkar Gah city, the provincial capital, according to a statement from the provincial department of information and culture.
