Tunisian Authorities Disrupt Two Drug Trafficking Operations Close to the Capital

Tunis, December 1 (NationPress) Tunisian security forces have successfully disrupted two drug trafficking operations in the provinces of Ben Arous and Ariana, located near the capital Tunis, as reported by the Tunisian National Radio.
During two distinct operations on Saturday, the security forces apprehended nine suspects and confiscated an undisclosed quantity of narcotics, cash, and a vehicle, according to the Xinhua news agency.
The report did not disclose the specifics of the timing for the operations or the nationalities of those arrested, but it was noted that two of the suspects were already wanted for various offenses.
The Tunisian government has adopted a firm approach towards combatting drug trafficking and has recently conducted extensive nationwide operations resulting in the arrest of hundreds of individuals linked to drug-related activities.
