Tunis, Jan 18 (NationPress) – The Tunisian security forces successfully dismantled a drug trafficking network operating within the Sousse and Kairouan provinces, resulting in the arrest of three individuals, as reported by the Tunisian National Guard on their Facebook page.

One of those detained was already a wanted individual on multiple charges. The authorities also confiscated 700 grams of cocaine, cash related to drug trafficking activities, mobile phones, and vehicles utilized for transportation, according to Xinhua news agency.

Following a review of the case, the public prosecution has sanctioned their detention while investigations continue.

The Tunisian National Guard urged citizens to assist law enforcement by reporting any suspicious activities or information.
