Sanaa, April 13 (NationPress) The US military executed 10 airstrikes across northern Yemen, targeting various sites.
The bombings reportedly struck the Al-Salem district in northern Saada province, the Al-Munira district in western Hodeidah province, and the Vocational Institute in the Al-Sawma'ah district of central Al-Bayda province late on Saturday night, as reported by the Xinhua news agency, citing Houthi-run al-Masirah TV.
No casualties have been confirmed at this time. On Friday, the US Central Command stated on X that its operations against the Houthis continue.
The United States resumed its air campaign against the Houthi forces on March 15, indicating that the strikes were intended to deter the group from initiating attacks against Israeli and US naval assets in the Red Sea.
The Houthis, who dominate much of northern Yemen, declared they would cease their operations if Israel halts its assault in Gaza and allows the entry of vital humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip.
Earlier on Thursday, the death toll from US airstrikes on the Red Sea port city of Hodeidah climbed to 14, with 15 others injured, according to health authorities controlled by the Houthis.
The majority of the victims were women and children, they reported, adding that the death toll swelled after the critically injured succumbed to their wounds in the hospital.
This tragedy occurred when US military aircraft targeted residences in the Amin Muqbil neighborhood, according to health officials and local eyewitnesses, who also shared video footage on social media shortly after the airstrikes.
