New Delhi, Dec 31 (NationPress) The US Embassy in India announced on Wednesday a recap of key agreements and interactions that occurred between Washington and New Delhi throughout 2025, expressing optimism that 2026 will mark another year of even stronger bilateral relations.

The video released by the US Embassy in India highlights a significant meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Donald Trump at the White House during Modi's visit to Washington earlier this year. The two leaders are seen engaging in discussions at the White House.

Additionally, the video captures moments from the meeting of External Affairs Minister (EAM) S Jaishankar and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio during the Quad Foreign Ministers Meeting, as well as the signing of a 10-year Update of the Framework for the US-India Major Defence Partnership.

Highlights also include US Vice President JD Vance's visit to India, where PM Modi hosted him, his wife Usha Vance, and their children at his official residence.

The two nations have collaborated on space and earth science, launching Nisar into orbit, with the Trump administration appointing Sergio Gor as the upcoming US Ambassador to India.

While sharing the video on X, the US Embassy in India remarked, "New year loading... but first, the rewind! Look back at the highlight moments that defined the US-India partnership this year, as we prepare for another year of even stronger US-India ties."

Earlier this month, PM Modi and President Trump had a telephonic conversation, discussing bilateral relations, along with regional and international issues. They emphasized the importance of maintaining momentum in efforts to boost bilateral trade.

"Had a very warm and engaging conversation with President Trump. We reviewed the progress in our bilateral relations and discussed regional and international developments. India and the US will continue to collaborate for global peace, stability, and prosperity," PM Modi tweeted after the call.

The leaders assessed the advancements in the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership and expressed satisfaction with the steady enhancement of cooperation across all sectors.

They also shared insights on expanding collaboration in critical technologies, energy, defense, and security, which are crucial for implementing the India–US COMPACT (Catalyzing Opportunities for Military Partnership, Accelerated Commerce and Technology) for the 21st century.

Furthermore, they deliberated on various regional and global issues and agreed to work closely to tackle shared challenges and promote common interests.
