Washington, Feb 10 (NationPress) The US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF) has declared its intention to spearhead the most extensive American industry delegation ever to India, serving as an official partner of the India AI Impact Summit 2026.
The summit is scheduled to take place in New Delhi from February 16 to 20, in partnership with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.
USISPF highlighted that over 120 US CEOs and senior technology executives will participate, describing this initiative as a pivotal movement towards enhancing collaboration on AI, reliable technology ecosystems, and next-gen digital infrastructure.
In anticipation of the summit, USISPF has also unveiled the establishment of a Board AI Task Force, headed by John Chambers. This task force will concentrate on fortifying AI ecosystems, expediting responsible deployment, and fostering population-scale impact.
As Prime Minister Modi aptly stated, “AI signifies both America and India,” Chambers commented. He emphasized that the task force aims to guarantee “AI's responsible development and application for nearly two billion people across our nations.”
The delegation will be co-led by Shantanu Narayen, vice chair of USISPF and chair and CEO of Adobe, alongside Raj Subramaniam, vice chair of USISPF and president and CEO of FedEx Corporation.
USISPF mentioned that the group will include senior figures from Microsoft, General Catalyst, Ericsson, Chemours, Rubrik, Uniphore, and Kore.ai, in addition to executives from manufacturing, logistics, and advanced services sectors.
This delegation will promote the TRUST Initiative by catalyzing investments to enhance India’s computational capabilities and supporting startups that are implementing welfare-oriented AI solutions. It will also strengthen collaboration on supply chain resilience, including India’s inclusion in the Pax Silica initiative.
As part of the official agenda at Bharat Mandapam, USISPF will facilitate a key session titled 'Scaling Trusted AI for 8 Billion+'. Additionally, there will be official events at The Leela Palace, New Delhi, on February 18, featuring closed-door discussions focused on national security, supply chains, and strategic technology partnerships.
The US-India alliance is crucial in shaping a trustworthy global AI ecosystem, stated Mukesh Aghi, president and CEO of USISPF.
India has prioritized artificial intelligence at a national level, while the US has focused on trusted AI frameworks, making emerging technologies a fundamental component of the broader India-US strategic collaboration.
