The leaders condemned the event, labeling it as an act motivated by vengeance.
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann took to X, stating: “A team from the Election Commission, accompanied by Delhi Police, arrived at my residence, Kapoorthala House, in Delhi to conduct a raid. The BJP is brazenly distributing cash in Delhi, yet both the Delhi Police and the Election Commission are ignoring this. No measures are being taken against them.”
He further expressed that, in essence, the Delhi Police and the Election Commission are tarnishing the reputation of Punjabis at the behest of the BJP.
“This is utterly condemnable,” asserted the Punjab Chief Minister.
Aman Arora, President of AAP Punjab, commented that the BJP is terrified of losing and is attempting to disrupt the electoral environment.
He noted that BJP leader Pravesh Verma is persistently distributing cash, yet the Election Commission has failed to act against him.

He added that the objective is to intentionally target Punjabis during the elections.
Arora also cited BJP candidate Kailash Gahlot as an example, highlighting his cash distribution activities within his campaign office.
He recalled that previous raids on AAP leaders’ residences yielded no findings, asserting, “This time, too, nothing will be discovered.”
AAP legislator Jeevan Jyot Kaur also denounced the raid, questioning when the Election Commission plans to investigate Pravesh Verma’s residence.
She remarked that the Election Commission is “dancing to the BJP’s tune” and deemed the situation highly condemnable.
