Kochi, Jan 8 (NationPress) Acclaimed actress Honey Rose has taken a significant step by filing a police report against jewellery magnate Boby Chemmanur for using offensive language directed towards her.

Rose herself revealed this information, emphasizing that she approached the police to file her complaint regarding the insulting remarks she experienced.

She stated, “This really unpleasant incident occurred four months ago, and it caused significant distress to my family.” This statement came after she formally registered her complaint.

Furthermore, the actress announced via her social media platforms that she intends to pursue the case against Chemmanur’s close friends and associates as well.

Interestingly, just two days prior, Rose shared her experience on social media without naming her harasser, recounting the unfortunate event.

In response, there has been a surge in cyber harassment towards her, resulting in the arrest of approximately two dozen individuals by law enforcement.

Rose made her acting debut in the 2005 Malayalam film 'Boyy Friennd', gaining widespread recognition in 2012 with 'Trivandrum Lodge'.

Since then, she has enjoyed a flourishing career in acting and is now a highly sought-after personality, especially for various events.

Boby Chemmanur is the chairman of the expansive Chemmanur International Group and gained notoriety for his association with the late football legend Diego Maradona, who visited Kerala in 2012 due to Chemmanur’s influence.

This endeavor aimed to establish the world’s largest blood bank, which continues to support blood donations for those in need.

The marathon garnered significant media attention as it successfully raised awareness throughout the state and the nation, leading to approximately 1.4 million individuals donating blood for this noble cause.
