New Delhi, Aug 14 (NationPress) The government is preparing to unveil an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered tool on Thursday that will autonomously create structured minutes of meeting (MoM) from audio and video recordings of Gram Sabha or other Panchayat meetings.
The Ministry of Panchayati Raj (MoPR) is set to introduce ‘SabhaSaar’, an AI-driven meeting summarization tool, with Union Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh and Union Minister of State for Panchayati Raj, Professor SP Singh Baghel, present in the national capital.
According to the ministry, ‘SabhaSaar’ employs sophisticated AI and Natural Language Processing (NLP) technologies to transcribe verbal discussions, pinpoint key decisions and action items, and generate meticulously formatted meeting minutes.
Linked with ‘Bhashini’, the government's National Language Translation Mission, this tool currently accommodates 13 Indian languages, promoting inclusivity and accessibility for Panchayat officials from diverse linguistic backgrounds.
