Bareilly, April 8 (NationPress) In a positive response to the ceasefire between the United States and Iran, the President of the All India Muslim Jamaat (AIMJ), Shahabuddin Razvi, stated on Wednesday that war is never a viable solution to any issue and emphasized that lasting peace can only arise through dialogue and communication.

In an interview with IANS, Razvi expressed his relief regarding the halt of hostilities, indicating that this development instills hope for greater stability in a region marked by volatility. "We wholeheartedly welcome the ceasefire in the conflict involving America and Iran, as war is not a solution to any problem. Issues are resolved through dialogue and communication," he remarked.

Nevertheless, he condemned the actions of the United States and Israel during the conflict, accusing them of carrying out indiscriminate bombings in Iran, which he claims resulted in severe civilian casualties. "America and Israel executed indiscriminate bombings on Iran without considering humanity, attacking hospitals and schools, leading to the deaths of 200 children. God knows how many thousands have perished," he asserted.

Razvi also drew attention to the ongoing situation in Gaza, blaming Israel for causing extensive civilian casualties. He urged the international community to ensure accountability and justice, calling for legal action against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, advocating for a case to be brought against him at the International Court of Justice.

He commended India's diplomatic approach during these turbulent times, describing it as balanced and pragmatic. "India maintained a balanced policy and navigated its relations with Iran, America, and Israel wisely throughout these 40 days," he noted.

Furthermore, Razvi highlighted that India’s enduring relationship with Iran has been pivotal in protecting national interests, especially in securing the safe passage of Indian vessels through the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz. "India and Iran have a long-standing relationship, and it was this bond that allowed Indian ships to navigate through the Strait of Hormuz," he added.

Razvi expressed optimism that the ceasefire could lead to a permanent resolution. "I pray to God that this ceasefire evolves into a complete and permanent end to the conflict," he concluded.
