Amit Shah Promises Permanent Housing for All Slum Dwellers in Delhi by PM Modi

New Delhi, Jan 11 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi has committed that the BJP will ensure a permanent residence for every slum dweller in Delhi, as stated by Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday.

During his address at the ‘Slum Bastī Pradhan Conference’ held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, HM Shah highlighted that the Modi government has successfully implemented all welfare initiatives it promised.

The Modi administration is providing 5 kg of free food grains to 80 crore impoverished individuals, housing for 3.5 crore underprivileged families, gas cylinders to over 10 crore poor people, electricity to 2.62 lakh households across 6 lakh villages, and has built toilets in 12 lakh homes, he elaborated.

Approximately 1,000 leaders from slum clusters attended this event, which was introduced by Delhi BJP’s Election Incharge, MP Baijayant Panda.

HM Shah recalled that a year ago, on the same day, there was a victorious chant for the consecration of Ram Lalla, and today the BJP has rallied for the formation of the Delhi government.

He noted that the Delhi BJP has interacted with slum residents over the past 26 weeks, hearing their grievances, frustrations over unfulfilled commitments, and compiling their issues to seek solutions.

“When our manifesto is released, it will address every challenge you face. The BJP’s manifesto will not be like the AAP’s, which seeks votes and returns after five years with new deceitful promises. The BJP’s manifesto is backed by Modi’s guarantee, ensuring fulfillment on the ground,” Shah stated.

He motivated slum dwellers to become the champions of Delhi, aiding in its liberation from “AAP-da” or calamity.

“February 5 will be commemorated as a day of liberation from corruption, polluted water, and an indifferent, deceitful government,” he remarked.

He referenced Anna Hazare’s anti-corruption campaign, which was allegedly exploited by AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal to mislead the people of Delhi and form a government, only to later surpass all records of corruption.

Shah criticized AAP, labeling it as a disaster for Delhi, asserting that Arvind Kejriwal is a calamity for AAP itself. He claimed that wherever Kejriwal and Sisodia go, they merely display bottles of alcohol to the public.

He accused Kejriwal of being a liar, a traitor, corrupt, and indifferent.

His administration has shown insensitivity towards the underprivileged and deceived the residents of Delhi who are served contaminated water.

The highest rates of failure in Class 9 and 11 are recorded in Delhi, with 5.25 lakh children lacking access to education, and many continue to purchase water from tankers and bottles, Shah stated.
