New Delhi, Feb 3 (NationPress) Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to lead numerous significant public gatherings throughout Delhi on Monday as part of the BJP's active campaign for the upcoming Assembly elections.
The gatherings are scheduled in crucial constituencies, aiming to enhance the party's visibility and engage with voters ahead of the elections on February 5.
The initial public meeting will occur at the Jangpura Assembly constituency at 11:30 AM, located at Bhagwan Nagar Market. Subsequently, HM Shah will head to the Bijwasan Assembly constituency at 2:30 PM to address attendees at Dada Dev Ground in Raj Nagar, Mehrauli.
The day will conclude with a rally in the Dwarka Assembly constituency at 3:30 PM, taking place at Ram Leela Ground, Durga Park, Najafgarh.
These events are part of a series of significant road shows organized by Delhi BJP to connect with voters and promote the party’s message across the national capital.
Earlier, while addressing a rally in Rohini and urging support for party candidate Vijender Gupta, Shah criticized the AAP party, labeling it as a representation of “lies, deceit, and fraud”, pointing out their inability to fulfill promises such as closing liquor vends in residential areas, cleaning the Yamuna to the standards of London’s River Thames, and increasing hospital beds.
He questioned the credibility of Kejriwal's claim that the BJP is responsible for polluting Yamuna water, asking if any resident of Delhi believes him.
HM Shah asserted that the AAP is notorious for breaking promises, contrasting this with the unwavering commitment of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
As the February 5 elections draw near, the competition for Delhi is heating up, with the ruling AAP, BJP, and Congress making every effort to win voter favor.
All three parties have published their manifestos, presenting commitments and assurances in a bid for control over the national capital. The results of this high-stakes contest will be revealed on February 8.
