An FIR was filed by Urmila Devi, the mother of Sonu and Monu Singh, accusing Anant Singh and his associates of intimidation and gunfire.

The incident transpired on Wednesday afternoon in Nauranga Jalalpur village, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Pachmahala police station in Patna district.

“They have filed an FIR against me, and thus I surrendered to uphold the law. I will now proceed to jail as per the court’s order,” Anant Singh stated.

Rakesh Kumar, the ASP cum SDPO of the Barh range, confirmed the developments.

“Security protocols have been intensified at various sites, including the court premises, Nauranga-Jalalpur village, and Ladma village, Anant Singh’s place of origin. Anant Singh surrendered at the Barh sub-divisional court, and we await the court's guidance on the next steps in this case,” Kumar noted.

ASP Kumar also indicated that operations are ongoing to locate and apprehend other individuals implicated in the case.

The authorities are diligently following leads to ensure that all parties involved are held accountable.

Earlier that day, Patna police detained two individuals, Sonu Singh and Raushan Kumar Singh, in relation to this incident.

Raushan Kumar Singh is recognized as a close associate of Anant Singh.

The former MLA had visited the village to negotiate with Sonu and Monu Singh; however, the discussion escalated into conflict, resulting in multiple rounds of gunfire from both factions.

During the confrontation, Uday Yadav suffered gunshot wounds and is currently receiving treatment at Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH).

In the aftermath of the shooting, three FIRs have been registered at the Pachmahala police station.

The initial FIR was filed by Mukesh Singh, the homeowner, against Sonu and Monu Singh for illegally seizing his property.

It is alleged that Sonu and Monu locked the house, prompting Mukesh to enlist the help of Anant Singh.

Urmila Devi, the mother of Sonu Singh, filed a counter-FIR against Anant Singh and his supporters, alleging that they assaulted her home during the clash.

The police also filed an FIR against Sonu Singh, Monu Singh, and their associates.

This FIR details a scuffle with the police that occurred when officers attempted to gain access to Mukesh Singh’s house during the incident.

According to local residents, the underlying issue was a property dispute.

It is claimed that the Sonu-Monu gang forcibly occupied a house belonging to Mukesh Singh. Upon learning of this, Anant Singh arrived at the location with his supporters to mediate. However, this led to a volatile confrontation between the two parties, culminating in widespread gunfire.
