In a related incident, locals in Bakhog village of Himachal Pradesh's Sirmaur district experienced panic on March 22 after spotting a balloon with markings associated with Pakistan.
The balloon, adorned with the 'PIA' acronym in green and other symbols, was seen by residents Lokendra Thakur and his spouse while they were en route to their fields.
Similar sightings have previously occurred in districts such as Bilaspur, Una, and Kangra in Himachal Pradesh.
Earlier in February, another balloon displaying the Pakistan International Airlines logo was retrieved from a border village in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir.
