Kolkata, April 15 (NationPress) A fierce political debate has ignited in West Bengal after a statement made by the newly appointed Governor, R.N. Ravi, who urged the state's youth to engage in efforts aimed at restoring its former glory.
During the celebration of Bengali New Year's Day, Ravi, a former Intelligence Bureau (IB) officer, first paid his respects at the famed Kalighat Kali temple in south Kolkata before addressing an audience at Lok Bhavan to commemorate the occasion.
