New Delhi, March 10 (NationPress) BJP leader Amit Malviya has sounded the alarm regarding what he considers the deteriorating law and order situation in West Bengal, highlighting a series of recent violent events that have instilled fear among the state's populace.

In a strongly worded statement shared on X, Malviya criticized West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for her inability to manage the escalating unrest.

"The law and order situation in West Bengal is spiralling out of control, quickly resembling the chaos witnessed in Bangladesh," Malviya stated, making a concerning comparison that has ignited political discourse.

His remarks came after a notably violent occurrence earlier that day in Murshidabad District. Malviya detailed how supporters of Mamata Banerjee, whom he labeled as extremists, had vandalized and set fire to shops and properties owned by Hindus in Patikabari Bazar, situated in Nawda Block.

"Just a few hours ago, Mamata Banerjee’s extremist supporters vandalized and set fire to shops and properties owned by Hindus at Patikabari Bazar in Nawda Block, Murshidabad District. This is not a singular event - over the past 48 hours, there have been numerous reports of desecrated Hindu temples," he emphasized, underscoring the widespread nature of the violence occurring.

Malviya’s statement served not only as a critique of Mamata Banerjee’s leadership but also as a plea for immediate intervention. He voiced his concerns regarding the inadequacy of Bengal's leadership in restoring order, urging the central government to take swift action.

"If Bengal Home Minister Mamata Banerjee is unable to manage the situation, she should request Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee to summon central forces immediately to restore normalcy," he insisted.

As Malviya's statement gained momentum online, political tensions in West Bengal intensified, with both the state government and BJP supporters engaging in heated exchanges. The demand for central forces has sparked a new political upheaval as Bengal remains in a state of unrest.
