Reacting sharply to the results, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Assembly, Tejashwi Yadav, alleged irregularities in the electoral process and questioned the credibility of the outcome. He claimed the BJP's victory was the result of a conspiracy, asserting that the truth would eventually come to light.
