India hosted the AI Impact Summit 2026 from February 16 to 20, concentrating on human-centric AI, global collaboration, and ethical frameworks, including the New Delhi Declaration.
In his 131st episode of the monthly radio program 'Mann Ki Baat', PM Modi remarked, "This platform strongly highlights the nation's achievements and contributions. The AI Impact Summit held in Delhi was a prime example of this. Leaders, entrepreneurs, innovators, and individuals from the startup ecosystem gathered at Bharat Mandapam for this significant event."
PM Modi emphasized, "This summit represents a pivotal moment in how the global community will harness the power of AI moving forward. I had the privilege of meeting world and tech leaders. During the AI Summit Exhibition, I presented various innovations to them."
He noted that two products particularly captured the attention of global leaders. The first was from the AMUL booth, illustrating how AI aids dairy farmers in managing their livestock and businesses. The second product showcased cultural preservation methods for ancient knowledge and traditions, ensuring their relevance for future generations.
Highlighting the display of the 'Sushruta Samhita' at the exhibition, PM Modi explained, "The initial phase involved enhancing the manuscript's image quality using technology to improve readability. "Global leaders expressed keen interest in exploring Bharat's ancient wisdom through a contemporary lens," he added.
The Prime Minister stated that the summit allowed the world to witness Bharat's extraordinary capabilities in AI. He also announced the launch of three 'Made in India' AI models during the event.
