Patna, March 25 (NationPress) The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has officially disclosed the results of the Intermediate Annual Examination for 2025 on Tuesday.
Bihar's Education Minister Sunil Kumar announced the results at the BSEB headquarters in Patna, accompanied by S. Siddharth, the Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department, and Anand Kishor, the BSEB Chairman.
This year, an impressive 86.5 per cent of candidates successfully passed the Intermediate examination.
In the science stream, Priya Jaiswal from Bettiah achieved the highest score with 484 marks out of 500 (96.8 per cent), followed by Akash Kumar in second place with 480 marks. Ravi Kumar from Patna secured the third position with 478 marks.
For the commerce stream, Roshni Kumari was the topper, while in the arts stream, Ankita Kumari and Saqib shared the first position.
The pass percentages were 82.75 per cent in arts, 94.77 per cent in commerce, and 89.66 per cent in science.
Students can view their results on the official BSEB website: biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in. To check the results, students are required to enter their roll number and date of birth.
Additionally, BSEB has provided alternative methods for result access via SMS. Students can obtain their results by texting 'BIHAR12' followed by their roll number to 56263.
The Intermediate examinations took place from February 1 to February 15, 2025, across 1,677 centres in Bihar, with around 12.92 lakh candidates participating, including 6,50,466 boys and 6,41,847 girls.
The BSEB has also announced improved rewards for top-performing students — the first rank prize includes Rs 2 lakh, a laptop, a certificate, and a medal, while the second rank receives Rs 1.5 lakh and the third rank receives Rs 1 lakh.
Students ranked 4 to 10 will each receive Rs 30,000.
To pass the Bihar Board Intermediate examination, students must achieve at least 33 per cent marks.
