New Delhi, Nov 14 (NationPress) Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Steel H.D. Kumaraswamy referred to the NDA's triumph in the Bihar assembly elections as a record-setting achievement that is unprecedented in the era following India's independence.
"The citizens of Bihar have imparted a valuable lesson to the Congress party for fabricating a misleading narrative of ‘vote theft’,” Kumaraswamy stated to the press at his residence in Delhi on Friday after the Bihar election results were revealed.
He asserted that the JD(S)-BJP coalition is on the verge of establishing the next government in Karnataka with a significant majority.
“The current Congress-led administration in the state is already facing challenges due to intense anti-incumbency. For over two years, the party has squandered its time solely on internal leadership conflicts. The populace is disenchanted. Although they awarded Congress 136 seats with high hopes, they are now disillusioned and looking forward to the elections. They are mentally set to teach Congress a lesson,” he remarked.
He further mentioned that the NDA coalition in Karnataka is robust, with all BJP and JD(S) leaders collaborating.
“Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, we aim to achieve a record-breaking outcome in Karnataka, just like in Bihar. We are determined to exceed the achievements in Bihar,” he conveyed.
Kumaraswamy pointed out that Congress has lost its faith in the democratic framework and has resorted to spreading deceit and misinformation through fabricated narratives.
“The informed voters of Bihar have reacted decisively and have delivered a stern rebuke to the party,” he said.
He expressed that the people of Bihar have extended unparalleled support to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's development-focused governance and his unwavering commitment to realizing a Viksit Bharat by 2047.
“I extend my congratulations to the people of Bihar for this achievement,” he added.
“The formidable NDA alliance, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's guidance, has achieved a record victory that has never been witnessed in the post-Independence period in India,” he stated.
He also indicated that the people of Bihar have advised Congress to cease its ‘vote theft’ rhetoric.
“In the last Assembly election, Congress asserted they would secure 136 seats in Karnataka. How could they be so certain? How can they predict future outcomes? Did they previously win with assistance from the Election Commission? What did the KPCC president mean by making such statements even before the results were announced? Congress leaders should refrain from making such presumptuous comments,” Kumaraswamy concluded.
