Patna, Oct 6 (NationPress) Bihar's Leader of the Opposition, Tejashwi Yadav, has praised the recent announcement of the assembly election dates, labeling it a “trumpet of change” in the historical narrative of the state.
“This date is one we must all remember. In the future, as we reflect on history, this moment will be inscribed in golden letters as the dawn of a promising future for Bihar, symbolizing transformation, development, and progress,” he stated.
Referring to the election timeline as the “trumpet of change,” the RJD leader urged voters to rally behind the INDIA Bloc.
“The victory of the people has been proclaimed. It is time for every Bihari to channel their heart and energy towards establishing the INDIA Bloc government,” he asserted.
Yadav highlighted that Bihar’s youth, representing the largest demographic, will be pivotal in this election.
“This election will see the youth voting to eradicate unemployment. In just 20 months, we have achieved what the previous government couldn't in two decades. With collective effort, we will forge a better, more prosperous Bihar,” he added.
Addressing the challenges faced by Bihar over the last twenty years, Yadav pointed to issues such as crime, corruption, scams, migration, unemployment, inflation, and natural disasters—failures attributed to previous administrations.
“For 20 years, Bihar has endured grief and hardship due to crime, corruption, and neglect. The only remedy is to eliminate this ineffective, corrupt, and dictatorial government,” he stressed.
He called upon voters to seize the chance for change.
“Every voter desires a Grand Alliance government and a Chief Minister infused with youthful vigor, courage, and vision—one who fights for the rights of the marginalized and can deliver rapid development,” he said.
Tejashwi sharpened his critique of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, asserting that Bihar requires a dynamic leader.
“The state needs a Chief Minister who is aware and proactive, not one who is incapacitated. A leader who roars for Bihar’s rights and whose strength deters criminals, erases corruption, and fulfills Bihar's dreams for employment, happiness, prosperity, and peace,” asserted Tejashwi.
Expressing confidence in the INDIA Bloc's triumph, he assured the people of Bihar that the forthcoming elections would usher in a new, glorious chapter.
“Today marks not merely the announcement of election dates but the start of Bihar’s festivities. This celebration must continue. Bihar's twenty-year wait will culminate after Diwali and Chhath Puja. A grand festival will arrive that will banish all sorrows. On that day, every Bihari stands with me in victory—each one becomes a leader, a maker of Bihar’s destiny,” he concluded.
