BJP set to form govt in Bengal, TMC unlikely to cross 100 seats: Suvendu Adhikari
Suvendu Adhikari, Leader of Opposition in the West Bengal Assembly and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, on Monday declared that the BJP is on course to form the government in the state, asserting that the Trinamool Congress (TMC) would fail to cross the 100-seat mark in the 293-seat Assembly. The claim came on counting day as early trends began emerging from across the state.
