The additional force will be stationed at crowded markets, places of worship, major road junctions, idol installation points, and designated immersion locations.

Special teams have been assigned to manage traffic and maintain order during processions, when large gatherings of devotees are anticipated. Patrolling and vehicle checks have been stepped up in sensitive and densely populated zones, and personnel have been instructed to respond swiftly to any situation that could disturb public order.

How Preparations Are Being Coordinated

Security arrangements have been drawn up after a systematic identification of idol installation sites, procession routes, and authorised immersion points. Hindu organisations, social welfare groups, residents' associations, and local communities across the city are in the process of installing Vinayaka idols at public spaces in preparation for the festivities.

Organisers are required to comply with regulations governing the size and placement of idols, public safety norms, traffic flow, and the use of permitted procession routes.
