CM Saha Promises a Future Without Unemployment in Tripura

Agartala, Dec 18 (NationPress) Manik Saha, the Chief Minister of Tripura, stated on Wednesday that the state is moving towards being unemployment-free as the government is actively fostering entrepreneurship. He expressed confidence that in the near future, there would be no unemployment in Tripura due to the government's commitment to providing jobs transparently and promoting entrepreneurial ventures.
"We are offering government positions based on transparency. No individual can assert that these positions are being filled unfairly. Since 2018, we have already provided over 13,000 government jobs, and we are making new job announcements almost daily," Saha shared with the media during a government event.
He added that new job openings are being created and filled in a timely manner.
"Nevertheless, it is not feasible to employ everyone immediately. Therefore, we are implementing various initiatives to create employment opportunities," Saha remarked.
Reflecting on his experiences from the Northeast Trade and Investment Roadshow in Mumbai on December 16, he noted: "I engaged with investors and introduced them to Tripura's rich resources."
"I emphasized several key sectors such as tourism, agriculture, and the hotel industry. Furthermore, I highlighted the potential of industries involving agar, rubber, and bamboo. Investors have shown significant interest in our bamboo sector, and I informed them about Tripura's bamboo policy. In summary, I covered all facets of the state's industrial capacity, and the response from investors has been positive. There is a growing interest in establishing ventures in Tripura," the Chief Minister elaborated.
Saha stressed that the law and order situation in the state is excellent. "Tripura has been recognized as a favorable destination in the northeastern region for its peace and harmony. As more individuals arrive here, there will be a natural increase in employment opportunities. Additionally, many are taking the initiative in entrepreneurship and start-ups. I am optimistic that soon, Tripura will witness no unemployment," he concluded.
