Key Takeaways
Chandigarh, Dec 15 (NationPress) Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini emphasized on Monday that every complaint submitted through the CM Window “is not just a routine entry, but a vital representation of the public’s trust.”
He stated that it is the duty of the concerned officials to tackle these complaints with utmost honesty, integrity, and transparency, while actively participating in their resolution. Since these officials are closely linked to the Chief Minister via this platform, their accountability to the public significantly increases.
The Chief Minister was engaging with officials linked to the CM Window at his residence.
He remarked that collective efforts are essential to develop the CM Window into a robust and trustworthy system that every citizen can take pride in, assured that their grievances will be addressed swiftly and effectively. Maintaining this trust, he added, would ensure the administrative framework operates with enhanced dedication, sensitivity, and efficiency.
CM Saini noted that the CM Window portal was initiated on December 25, 2014, aimed at delivering prompt resolutions to issues faced by ordinary citizens. To date, 1,482,924 complaints have been logged on the portal, with 1,412,136 complaints having been resolved. This, he stated, reflects the government’s strong commitment to prioritizing public grievance redressal.
He mentioned that when a citizen files a complaint, it is not just a matter being reported, but a demonstration of trust in the Chief Minister and the government. Thus, it is crucial for this solid platform to remain transparent, responsive, and sensitive to ensure that public confidence continues to strengthen.
The Chief Minister also revealed that to facilitate effective resolution of complaints at the district level, ‘samadhan shivirs’ are being conducted every Monday and Thursday under the supervision of the Deputy Commissioner. So far, 147,299 complaints have been received during these camps statewide, with 119,597 already resolved, while efforts are underway to expedite the remaining cases.
He urged the officials involved with the CM Window to meticulously review each complaint and ensure a fair, transparent, and timely resolution, thereby reinforcing the trust of the complainants.
