Gurugram, April 23 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Haryana, Nayab Singh Saini, emphasized that it is our shared duty to attentively hear the concerns of the public and address them promptly. He pointed out that if officials take the initiative to acknowledge the issues raised by citizens, the resolution can be processed more efficiently.

While leading the District Public Relations and Grievance Redressal Committee meeting in Gurugram on Wednesday, the Chief Minister addressed 19 complaints, resolving 18 of them immediately. He requested that one case should remain pending until the next meeting, instructing the concerned officials to provide a status report at that time. CM Saini stated, "The citizens should not face any inconvenience," and urged for a concentrated effort towards maintaining cleanliness in the city, with the goal of making Gurugram both clean and attractive.

Prior to the meeting, the Chief Minister honored the victims of the recent terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir with a two-minute silence. He then instructed the Municipal Commissioner to hire additional personnel through Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam Limited (HKRN) for the collection of construction debris and waste at Laser Valley Ground in Sector 29, as well as for door-to-door garbage collection. He reiterated that transforming Gurugram into a clean, beautiful, and well-organized city is a top priority for the government.

He assured that there would be no lack of resources in achieving these developmental objectives. In response to complaints regarding waterlogging and inadequate maintenance of rainwater harvesting systems, CM Saini instructed the relevant department to ensure that all 404 rainwater harvesting units in the district are thoroughly cleaned before the rainy season begins.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister also established a deadline for the completion of development works in Sector 4 before the next review meeting. Additionally, responding to a concern from the Sarpanch of village Mubarakpur about the absence of an electricity connection to the village water works for over a year, he directed the Deputy Commissioner to personally investigate the situation and take decisive action against any negligent officials.
