He added that new industries would now be set up rapidly in Unnao and local youth would find employment there itself.

The UP Defence Industrial Corridor was approved by the Government of India in 2019 as one of six such corridors across the country, aimed at boosting indigenous defence manufacturing and reducing import dependence.
