Bengaluru, Nov 13 (NationPress) Former BJP National General Secretary and MLC C.T. Ravi expressed strong criticism towards the Congress-led Karnataka government, asserting that the party appears more preoccupied with the timing of the recent bomb blast in Delhi rather than the tragic loss of lives it caused. He highlighted their concern seems to stem from the blast occurring right before the Bihar elections.
Addressing the media in Bengaluru, Ravi stated, "Individuals implicated in the blast include Dr. Umar, Dr. Adil, Dr. Shaheena, and Dr. Mohiuddin. They transformed the Al-Falah Medical College into a terrorism hub, amassing nearly 3,000 kg of RDX. Such an explosive quantity could have obliterated the entire city of Bengaluru."
"Moreover, they produced a hazardous poison known as ricin, akin to arsenic. Had their plot succeeded, India would have experienced a catastrophic terrorist attack that would reverberate globally," he added.
"Their conspiracy had the potential to claim millions of lives," he remarked.
"The Congress should be alarmed by the prospect of such a tremendous loss of life. Their focus should be on the countless individuals who could have perished had this scheme been executed. Instead, their primary concern appears to be the timing of the blast relative to the Bihar elections," charged BJP leader Ravi.
"Is it to suggest that if terrorists commit attacks, it somehow aids the BJP? Why wouldn’t it also benefit you?" he inquired with sarcasm.
"Are you apprehensive that the public might equate you with the terrorists? Is this the root of your distress?" he further questioned.
"The Congress is not upset about the potential loss of innocent lives; they are merely agitated that the blast coincided with the election period," he alleged.
"This revelation highlights the Congress's intellectual bankruptcy," declared Ravi.
"Some are labeling this an intelligence failure," he noted.
"For clarity, on October 9, a terror plot backed by Pakistan's ISI was thwarted in Jalandhar. On October 13, the financial network of Jaish-e-Mohammed was unveiled in Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra. On October 15, a drone-based arms and narcotics operation was dismantled in Punjab. On October 24, an ISIS-inspired online network was eradicated in Delhi. On October 28, an expert from HUIS was detained in Pune. And on November 7, those inciting terrorist activities were apprehended in Rajasthan. The Gujarat ATS even detained four individuals, including a woman," stated BJP leader Ravi.
