Patna, Jan 22 (NationPress) Bihar Police successfully apprehended two suspects, Rahul Generator and Shubham Kumar alias Chadda, linked to the murder case of Ranjit Yadav alias Dahi Gop.
The arrests took place in Nagpur, Maharashtra, as part of an extensive investigation focused on a power struggle in the Danapur cantonment area.
As reported by a police official, both Rahul Generator and Shubham Kumar have a history of criminal activities, with multiple cases registered against them in various police stations across Patna.
To date, law enforcement has apprehended four individuals related to this case, with ongoing raids aimed at capturing additional suspects.
Authorities continue to make substantial headway in the investigation surrounding Ranjit Yadav, the former vice-president of the Danapur Cantonment Board.
The incident occurred on December 21, 2024, where Dahi Gop was severely injured and his associate, Gorakh Rai, was shot dead at the scene. Dahi Gop suffered five gunshot wounds and succumbed to his injuries two days later.
