New Delhi, March 26 (NationPress) On Thursday, Delhi's Lieutenant Governor T.S. Sandhu provided insights regarding a meeting held with specialists from the School of Planning & Architecture (SPA) to discuss the revitalization of the city's transit corridors.

In a post on X, Sandhu stated: "The esteemed School of Planning & Architecture, Delhi delivered an extensive presentation focused on the transformation of transit corridors in Delhi, aiming to create green, pedestrian-friendly, job-oriented, and recreational areas that operate round the clock."

This significant initiative is in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for urban renewal, which emphasizes enhancing tourism, stimulating local markets, and creating job opportunities, he noted.

He emphasized that this ambitious project will necessitate strong collaboration and smooth coordination among various civic bodies within the Capital.

Sandhu mentioned on X: "I assured Prof. Dr. Virendra Kr. Paul, Director of SPA Delhi, of our complete support in assessing the project's feasibility and ensuring effective inter-agency collaboration for its successful execution."

This presentation occurred just a day after the L-G's meeting with Union Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs and Power Manohar Lal to address concerns regarding the national capital's infrastructure.
