Jaipur, Oct 1 (NationPress) Rajasthan Food and Civil Supplies Minister Sumit Godara has expressed strong disapproval of Congress State President Govind Singh Dotasra's comments, labeling them as inappropriate and disrespectful, especially on the occasion of Dotasra's birthday.
In a media interaction on Wednesday, Godara remarked, “On this special day, Dotasra should resolve to enhance his behavior and avoid making unfounded or irrelevant statements. Birthdays should be a time for self-reflection, not for spreading negativity.”
Godara underscored that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been elected as the country’s leader three times, based solely on the trust and faith of the populace, contrasting this with former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who, as per Godara, was “unexpectedly promoted” to the role without a public mandate.
Pointing to the foundational strength of the Bharatiya Janata Party, he stated, “The bedrock of the BJP is its dedicated karyakartas (workers). PM Modi's journey from humble beginnings to becoming the Chief Minister of Gujarat and thereafter the Prime Minister of India exemplifies this. Similarly, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma is steering the state forward with the same dedication, having risen through the ranks as a committed party worker.”
Godara also stood up for the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), asserting that the organization has garnered the trust and admiration of millions due to its relentless dedication to nation-building and community service.
“Currently, thousands of RSS volunteers are actively contributing to the vision of ‘One India, Best India.’ Dotasra's derogatory comments regarding such organizations and their members are profoundly inappropriate,” he remarked.
In conclusion, Godara advised the Congress leader: “Dotasra ji, on your birthday, consider making impactful resolutions — recognize the commendable work of Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma instead of persistently criticizing. Constructive politics is beneficial for all.”
