Neemuch (Madhya Pradesh), July 10 (NationPress) The Sashakt Vahini Yojana is an initiative by the Ministry of Women and Child Development aimed at offering training to girls and young women to prepare them for entry-level examinations in the police force.
In the Neemuch district of Madhya Pradesh, this program empowers young women by supporting their aspirations and equipping them for demanding roles and responsibilities.
These aspiring girl students receive complimentary training to fulfill their ambition of serving their nation by entering the police and paramilitary sectors.
Launched on July 10, the training initiative aims to foster gender equality and empower the girl child in line with the 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' mission.
Divyani Sharma, a participant, expressed her enthusiasm for being part of this transformative program.
Another participant, Vanshika Sharma, highlighted how the Women and Child Development Department in Neemuch is offering free training to girls preparing for recruitment exams for police, army, and paramilitary forces under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao initiative.
The training program was officially launched at the Police Control Room situated in the District Police Line.
According to Women and Child Development Officer Ankita, 160 girls have enrolled in the program.
"We have identified girls who aspire to excel but lack access to coaching resources," she stated.
“As of today, we have commenced training sessions for these girls. They will receive physical training and comprehensive guidance on all examination-related topics throughout this six-month program,” she mentioned.
Support for this initiative comes from the police and sports departments.
During the inauguration, Neemuch District Collector Himanshu Chandra and other senior officials praised the initiative, stating that this training marks a crucial step towards fostering self-reliance and empowerment among girls.
