Patna, Feb 24 (NationPress) Four individuals suffered injuries following an explosion caused by an explosive substance in the Katihar district of Bihar on Monday.
The injured, which include two women, have been identified as Sheikh Bajru (36), Diloon Khatun (40), Bijlo (35), and Gopal (18). They are currently receiving treatment at the Government Medical College and Hospital Purnea.
This incident occurred near Lachhor Chowk within the jurisdiction of the Balrampur police station.
As recounted by Sheikh Bajru, he was on a tractor heading home when two women flagged him down, indicating an unidentified object concealed in the bushes. Upon closer inspection, he discovered cloth-wrapped explosive material, which detonated unexpectedly, injuring nearby individuals.
