Mhow, Jan 27 (NationPress) Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, on Monday, criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its ideological mentor Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), accusing them of trying to render Dalits and Adivasis into "slavery".

Speaking at a rally titled 'Jai Bapu, Jai Bhim, Jai Samvidhan' in Madhya Pradesh's Mhow, the Congress leader asserted that Dalits and Adivasis were denied rights until the Constitution was established following India's liberation from British colonial rule.

"The Constitution, crafted by Ambedkar, bestows rights on Dalits and Adivasis alongside others, yet the BJP and RSS are plotting to revoke these rights and enslave them," Rahul Gandhi stated.

He continued his critique of RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, claiming that the right-wing organization has no regard for Ambedkar's Constitution.

"Recently, the RSS Chief remarked that the Constitution did not grant us freedom. His comments directly insulted and undermined Ambedkar's contributions," Rahul Gandhi contended.

In a recent event in Indore, RSS Chief Bhagwat claimed that the inauguration date of the Ram temple in Ayodhya should be commemorated as "Pratishtha Dwadashi," symbolizing the "true independence of Bharat" which faced "parachakra (enemy attacks) for centuries.

During his speech in Mhow, Rahul Gandhi urged Congress members to defend the Constitution at all costs if they witnessed it being "disrespected by BJP and RSS representatives".

Additionally, the Congress leader raised concerns regarding India's educational framework and rising unemployment rates.

"The Indian education system operates as a mechanism for stamps and certifications," he remarked.

He argued that people believe that after obtaining such certifications and investing substantial sums with affluent individuals, their children will secure jobs.

"This is a blatant falsehood. Your children will struggle to find employment in this country, regardless of their efforts. How can others find jobs when even graduates from IIT and IIM are unemployed?" Rahul Gandhi questioned.

He also accused the BJP-RSS alliance of trying to alter the Constitution established by Ambedkar, which is why they promoted the slogan "400 paar" during the previous Lok Sabha elections.
