Via the social media platform X, Priyanka Gandhi stated, “I hope that the Honorable Prime Minister Modi ji highlights the genocide of thousands of innocent lives in Gaza while speaking to the Knesset in his upcoming visit to Israel and demands justice for them.”

As PM Modi departed for his two-day visit to Israel, he expressed enthusiasm for his discussions with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, aimed at enhancing cooperation in various areas and sharing insights on regional and global matters.
This visit marks Modi's second trip to Israel, following his 2017 visit that paved the way for advancements in defense, agriculture, and water management.
In his statement before departure, PM Modi remarked, "India and Israel have cultivated a strong and multifaceted Strategic Partnership that has experienced significant growth and dynamism in recent years. I am eager to engage with Prime Minister Netanyahu to strengthen our collaboration in numerous fields, including science and technology, innovation, agriculture, water management, defense and security, trade and investment, as well as enhancing people-to-people connections."
He also plans to discuss mutual interests regarding regional and global issues with the Israeli Prime Minister. During this visit, Modi will engage with Israeli President Isaac Herzog to discuss bilateral matters.
"I will also have the honor of being the first Indian Prime Minister to address the Israeli Parliament, Knesset, a moment that will pay tribute to the robust parliamentary and democratic bonds shared by our two nations," he stated.
The Prime Minister expressed his eagerness to connect with members of the Indian diaspora, who have been vital in nurturing the special friendship between India and Israel.
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) noted that PM Modi's two-day visit to Israel will reaffirm the deep-rooted and longstanding strategic partnership between the two nations.
"This visit will reconfirm the enduring strategic partnership between our countries and provide an opportunity to address common challenges, as well as realign our objectives towards achieving a resilient partnership between two thriving democracies," the MEA statement concluded.
