Gandhinagar, Nov 5 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Gujarat, Bhupendra Patel, announced on Wednesday that the procurement of groundnut, soybean, moong, and urad crops at the Minimum Support Price (MSP) will commence on November 9.
This decision, shared via post on X, aims to provide essential financial support to farmers whose crops were adversely affected by the recent unseasonal rainfall.
“The unexpected calamity of unseasonal rain has significantly impacted many farmers’ standing crops. The government is committed to supporting them during this challenging time. Starting on November 9, we will begin procuring ripe groundnuts, soybeans, moong, and urad at MSP,” stated the Chief Minister.

During his visit, he offered prayers before the Guru Granth Sahib, seeking blessings for happiness, prosperity, peace, and progress for all state citizens.
