Gurugram, May 10 (NationPress) The Gurugram Police have successfully apprehended four bail jumpers for reportedly not appearing before the designated court, according to police statements.
In the first instance, the individual was identified as Vikram, a resident of Vasant Kunj, Delhi. A case against him was filed at the Sadar police station in Gurugram.
The second suspect, Amandeep Chaudhary, hails from New Rajendra Park, Jalaun in Uttar Pradesh, and a case was registered against him at the Udyog Vihar police station.
In another case, Kuldeep from Rohtak and Ravinder from New Subhash Nagar were involved in a check-bounce incident, as reported by the police.
According to a spokesperson for the Gurugram Police, “The accused were involved in various cases and had received bail from the relevant court but failed to appear on the assigned date, thus violating court orders; therefore, they were classified as post-bail offenders (bail jumpers).”
The bail jumpers were apprehended by different teams of Gurugram Police on Thursday and Friday and were subsequently presented before the court.
Additionally, the police detained another individual for possessing an illegal weapon. A pistol was seized from him. The accused, identified as Sahun alias Salim from Nuh, was apprehended by a crime branch team from Sohna on Friday.
The spokesperson added, “An illegal weapon was recovered from the accused, and a case has been registered against him under the applicable sections of the Arms Act at Police Station City Sohna, Gurugram. The police team is taking further legal action in the matter.”
