Gurugram, Jan 17 (NationPress) The Gurugram Police have apprehended five individuals for allegedly plotting a robbery in Gurugram, as reported by police.
The suspects were identified as Shiv Kumar from Agra, Aman from Alwar, and Ishub, Shaukeen alias Dhanni, and Vishnu alias Billi, all hailing from Gurugram.
The authorities have confiscated one pistol, one live cartridge, one iron rod, two torches, and one stick from their possession.
As per police reports, a crime branch unit from Sohna received confidential information about individuals preparing to execute a robbery using firearms in a room near Adani Society, Sector-63A, Gurugram.
Following this tip-off, a raiding party was dispatched and arrested the suspects in the act of planning the robbery while armed.
A case has been registered against the accused at the Sector-65 police station in Gurugram.
Upon reviewing their criminal histories, it was discovered that Shiv Kumar has been implicated in six theft cases, while Aman has four cases related to the Arms Act, theft, and assault. Ishub has one assault case registered, Shaukeen has five cases associated with the Arms Act, snatching, and theft, and Vishnu has four theft-related cases documented in Gurugram. The accused were brought before the court on Friday for police custody.
