Haryana CM: India Attained 'Vishwa Guru' Status Through Vedic Wisdom

Gurugram, Dec 27 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Haryana, Nayab Singh Saini, articulated that the Vedas contain the profound knowledge that has established India as the 'Vishwa Guru' (world leader).

He remarked that in the contemporary quest to reinstate India’s position as the 'Vishwa Guru', it is essential to advocate for the teachings of the Vedas.

Furthermore, he highlighted that Haryana is a revered region where the sacred verses of the Vedas were composed along the banks of the Goddess Saraswati river.

In this regard, he expressed great pride in the launch of the Ved Prachar and Ved Bhashya Granth distribution initiative in Gurugram, the land of Guru Dronacharya, as noted by the Chief Minister.

He voiced his optimism that the wisdom of the Vedas will significantly contribute to realizing the Prime Minister's vision for a prosperous India.

CM Saini addressed attendees at the Ved Prachar and Ved Bhashya Granth Distribution event in Gurugram on Thursday.

“Scholars who have delved into the Vedas acknowledge them as the fundamental source of our religion, science, art, music, medicine, and philosophy. The exploration of the Vedas is vital not just from a religious standpoint, but also from cultural and scientific perspectives. Citing the teachings of saints, the Chief Minister underscored that the Vedas provide the ultimate guide, and by adhering to their principles, one can achieve peace and happiness,” he stated.

He further asserted that this meaningful initiative will empower the public, particularly the youth, to explore and comprehend the extensive knowledge contained within these ancient texts.

Additionally, he conveyed that it is a matter of pride and distinction for all that this essential work has been initiated in Haryana, the birthplace of the Vedas, which has nurtured Indian civilization.

“Our Vedas serve as the primary medium for disseminating humanity worldwide. The Vedas communicate the message of 'Manuhbhav', signifying 'become a human', which is attainable only when the Vedas become an integral aspect of our lives. While individuals from various religions promote their own beliefs, it is our Vedas that instruct us on how to be genuine human beings,” he remarked.

Referring to the Prime Minister's insights on the Vedas, the Chief Minister reiterated that they are a wealth of knowledge and science, continually guiding humanity even today.

“The Vedas instill values of harmony, equality, and respect for nature. They also encompass scientific principles that are critically important for the nation,” he added.

During this event, the Chief Minister urged collaborative efforts to safeguard the environment and encouraged steering the youth away from the perils of drug addiction.

BJP MLAs Bimla Chaudhary, Tejpal Tanwar, Mukesh Sharma, and other dignitaries were also present at the gathering.
