Chandigarh, March 13 (NationPress) Haryana's Chief Minister, Nayab Singh Saini, convened a meeting on Friday to evaluate the progress of various incentive programs under the Haryana Registered Vehicle Scrapping and Recycling Facility Incentive Policy of 2024, designed to enhance the vehicle scrapping and recycling industry.
The meeting underscored the importance of promoting scientific and eco-friendly methods for scrapping and recycling old vehicles, aiming to attract investment and create new job opportunities within the state.
During the session, Amit Agrawal, Commissioner and Secretary of Industries and Commerce, shared that registered scrapping and recycling units would be recognized with industry status, making them eligible for various financial incentives.
