IIT Delhi Students Land Numerous Job Offers from the US, UK, UAE, and Japan

New Delhi, 23 Dec (NationPress) Leading companies such as Google, Oracle, and American Express have presented job opportunities to students at IIT Delhi, with a total of over 1,200 offers secured, including pre-placement offers (PPOs). Around 1150 individual students are being distinctly chosen.
This recruitment phase has also seen students receive over 50 international offers from more than 15 prestigious organizations across various global regions, including Japan, Netherlands, South Korea, Taiwan, UAE, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
The placement season for the academic year 2024-25 is currently ongoing. However, IIT Delhi has chosen not to disclose the figures for high-value packages, adhering to their policy of not mentioning them in public statements related to placements.
The institution revealed that several recruiters have made double-digit offers on campus this year, including companies like Google, Oracle, American Express, Texas Instruments, Barclays, BCG, BlueStone Jewellery and Lifestyle Private Limited, Deutsche India Pvt Ltd, Goldman Sachs, Graviton Research Capital, Intel India, Meesho, Micron Technology, Microsoft, OLA, PayU, Quadeye, Qualcomm, Robust Results Private Limited, Shiprocket, Squarepoint Capital, Trident Group, and Turing Global India Pvt. Ltd.
Regarding the current placement season, Prof. Naresh Varma Datla, Professor-in-Charge of the Office of Career Services (OCS), commented, “IIT Delhi had a very strong start and has been performing admirably thus far. We anticipate that this positive trend will persist in the upcoming days. The Office of Career Services is dedicated to broadening the variety of companies and job profiles available to students as placements continue.”

The placement season, which will run through the end of the next semester, is focused on facilitating job placements for both undergraduate and postgraduate students of IIT Delhi. The seamless and efficient execution of the placement process is attributed to the hard work of the entire Office of Career Services team, including staff, student coordinators, and volunteers, alongside ongoing collaboration with industry partners from various sectors, the official added.
