Bhopal, March 28 (NationPress) Madhya Pradesh Governor Mangubhai Patel stated on Friday that India has achieved significant advancements in knowledge, science, and economy, carving out a new identity and reputation on the world stage.
He mentioned that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's guidance, the nation has attained a historic milestone, indicating that the 21st century will indeed be India's.
Patel delivered these remarks during the opening ceremony of a workshop organized in partnership with the Higher Education Department and the Private University Regulatory Commission at Raj Bhavan in Bhopal.
He emphasized the vital role teachers play in shaping future 'karmayogis' for a developed nation and urged individuals to work diligently without focusing on personal gains, successes, or failures.
"In the beginning, karmayoga practitioners may encounter challenges such as concerns about outcomes, societal pressures, established standards, and time limitations due to daily obligations. Nevertheless, these hurdles can be surmounted with a positive mindset, effective time management, and spiritual practices like meditation and disciplined reflection," the Governor remarked.
The Governor expressed optimism that the workshop would shed light on the philosophical and practical aspects of 'karmayoga', acting as a platform for nurturing selfless Karmayogis.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, who was also present at the event, stated that Madhya Pradesh is steadfastly progressing along the path of national policy.
He highlighted that students studying languages such as Tamil and Telugu would receive encouragement in the state.
"A committee will be established, including national experts, for Mission Karmayogi in Madhya Pradesh," CM Yadav further added.
The Chief Minister referred to the "Become a Karmayogi" workshop as a remarkable initiative.
"It is a point of pride that the revival of karmic action, stressed by educated karmayogis 5,000 years ago, is now being rekindled in Madhya Pradesh," he noted.
The workshop attracted participation from vice-chancellors, registrars, principals, and directors from both government and private universities in Madhya Pradesh, along with autonomous colleges and centers of excellence.
