Indresh Kumar of RSS Offers Chadar at Ajmer Sharif Dargah

Jaipur, Jan 2 (NationPress) RSS leader and patron of the Muslim Rashtriya Manch Indresh Kumar presented a chadar at the Ajmer Dargah Sharif on Thursday, marking the 813th Urs of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti.

The 40-foot-long chadar was dispatched from Delhi accompanied by a delegation from the Muslim Rashtriya Manch.

Prayers were offered for peace, harmony, and brotherhood within the country.

A heartfelt message from Indresh Kumar was delivered from Buland Darwaza, stressing the need for mutual harmony, embracing Khwaja Garib Nawaz's teachings, and promoting his enduring message of love and unity.

The annual Urs of Khwaja Saheb continues to inspire attendees with its profound message of brotherhood and humanity, inviting individuals from diverse backgrounds to honor his legacy.

Additionally, Union Minister for Minority and Parliamentary Affairs Kiren Rijiju is set to present the chadar on behalf of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Dargah Sharif on Saturday.

Haji Salman Chishti, Chairman of the Sufi Foundation and Gaddinshin of Ajmer Dargah, noted that PM Modi has been sending chadar to Ajmer Dargah for the past decade.

"The 813th Urs of Khwaja Moinuddin Hasan Chishti began in Ajmer, Rajasthan, on Wednesday, coinciding with the moon sighting," he remarked.

He emphasized that Prime Minister Modi has maintained the tradition of sending a chadar to the Dargah every year for the last ten years, a practice that started in 1947. Alongside the chadar, the Prime Minister sends a message of peace and brotherhood for the nation, with prayers for unity and harmony.

Union Minister Rijiju is expected to arrive at Jaipur airport at 7:15 a.m. on Saturday and will travel to Ajmer by road.

During this visit, Union Minister Rijiju will also unveil the web portal for Dargah Sharif and the 'Garib Nawaz' mobile app, designed to improve convenience for devotees.
